The vertical mould casting is a billet casting mould for casting steel square billets or steel round billets through a vertical casting machine. The cooling method is water pump cooling. The principle is thermal expansion and contraction. 40*50*1200mm, 50*60*1200mm, 60*70*1200mm, 60*70*1500mm, 70*80*1500mm, 80*90*1500mm, 90*100*1500mm, 100*110*1500mm, 100*110* 1600mm, 120*110*1000mm, 120*110*1500mm.

The service life of the vertical mould casting machine is determined by the user’s usage. For example, every time when casting a billet, ensure that there is sufficient flow of cooling water, sufficient pressure of cooling water, and proper temperature of molten steel to expand the life of the vertical mould casting. If the billet cannot be removed from the mould, it can be solved by replacing the copper tube.

Main Parameters

Working conditions of vertical mould casting :

1. Steel pouring temperature: 1500 ~ 1550 degrees

2. Flow rate: 80～100 cubic meters/hour, pressure about 0.5MPa

3. Demoulding temperature: 800-900 degrees

4. The speed of the billet: 2-3 minutes per piece

5. Copper tube thickness: about 11mm
