We take deformed bar as an example, when we talk about the service life of roller, normally we mean how many tons of deformed bar this roller could process.
Because the rough rolling mill and medium rolling mill roller service are longer than the finish rolling mill. So here we only talking finish rolling mill roller :
Each roller can engrave 20 grooves.
Each groove could be rolling 150Tons rebars.
This means each roller could roll: 150T*20=3000Tons rebar.
The is the primary service life. And when the groove is not accurate, we can find a roller lathe, engrave the groove again, making a bigger diameter groove, then this roller could roll another 3000Tons rebar.
Every time we use lathe processing the roller, the diameter of the roller will reduce 5mm.
For example the 250 model rolling mills. The roller diameter is 280mm, After several times processing, when the roller diameter to 235mm, this roller service life is over.
